Your eligibility for this contribution depends on a number of factors. These include your;
- Nationality
- Accommodation
- Rent
- Income

There is a number of ways you may apply for the housing allowance. You can easily calculate & apply for this contribution through our official tax partner - Taxperience. This ensures that your application will be filled out correctly, and the amount you have applied for is the actual amount you are eligible for.
You may also apply directly through the Tax Office. The application process is in Dutch and can be tricky at times, given the specificity of the questions. You may have the contribution confirmed by the Dutch tax authorities, but be aware, the contribution may be revoked if during a regular checkup the authorities discover that you have incorrectly filled out the application. You may then be required to pay everything back.
You can receive a contribution of up to around €1.500 per year.
