Job description

We're hiring a Welder to fabricate, assemble, and finish metal components using welding techniques and automated equipment. This role operates in a manufacturing facility in {Location} with an {Work_Mode} schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components. - Operate hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment to join metal parts, fill holes, and complete seams in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. - Lay out, position, align, and secure metal parts using tools like straightedges, combination squares, and calipers before final assembly. - Inspect finished welds for structural soundness, defects, and conformance to quality standards, performing repairs, polishing, or grinding as needed. - Maintain and clean the work area, tools, and equipment, including the use of forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling. - Follow safety protocols, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to productivity standards to meet project deadlines efficiently.
