We're hiring a driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services to passengers and customers. This role operates independently, connecting riders with drivers through the Uber platform in various locations. This role creates impact by providing flexible earning opportunities, with work available in many locations and offering a hybrid work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers or delivery items to their destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring timely arrivals. - Utilize the Uber app to accept rides, navigate efficiently using GPS, and manage customer interactions professionally throughout the trip. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it meets all safety and operational standards required for ride-sharing services, providing a comfortable experience.
- Drivers can cash out earnings up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay. - Uber offers rental partners for drivers who do not own a car, with rental options by the hour, day, or week. - Drivers receive support throughout the signup process and are guided to get on the road quickly.
- Must have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25). - Requires an eligible 4-door vehicle and a valid US Driver’s license, proof of residency, and vehicle insurance if using own car. - Must have an iPhone or Android smartphone and consent to a driver screening and background check.
