We're hiring an Uber Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services to passengers. This role operates independently, managing your own schedule to maximize earnings. You will be responsible for navigating routes efficiently, ensuring passenger comfort, and adhering to Uber's service standards. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers to their destinations using a personal or rental vehicle, ensuring timely arrivals and adherence to traffic laws. - Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a clean vehicle, offering a comfortable ride, and assisting passengers with any needs during their journey. - Utilize the Uber app to accept rides, navigate routes, and manage earnings, ensuring all trips are logged accurately and efficiently.
- Receive earnings up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay, with median hourly earnings of $23.59 in Austin. - You are your own boss, deciding how much or little you want to drive and earn. - Access to Uber's rental partners to rent a car by the hour, day, or week if you do not own a vehicle.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25). - Use an eligible 4-door vehicle and have a valid US Driver's license, iPhone or Android smartphone. - Consent to a driver screening and background check, and provide proof of residency and vehicle insurance if applicable.
