We're hiring a Senior PHP Engineer to drive the technical future of our platform and mentor the next generation of developers. This role creates impact by taking full ownership of architectural decisions, scaling core systems, and fostering team growth in a hybrid work environment at VONQ's Rotterdam/Groningen/Düsseldorf/London offices. Key Responsibilities: - Take full architectural and technical ownership of platform features and product improvements, ensuring scalability and reliability for high-volume systems like job distribution and programmatic advertising. - Drive the development of core platform systems, including job distribution, direct apply integrations, and programmatic advertising tools, using modern PHP, Symfony, and advanced API design (REST, GraphQL). - Mentor, coach, and conduct code reviews for junior and medior engineers, fostering a culture of clean code, domain-driven design, and continuous skill development.
