We're hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and productionize machine learning systems, collaborating across the Data Science team within Product and Tech. This role creates impact by developing solutions for supply and demand challenges, optimizing logistics algorithms in Berlin with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 remote). Key Responsibilities: - Research, implement, and deploy innovative machine learning techniques to address complex logistics problems, contributing to the development of cutting-edge predictive models and optimizations. - Scale and transfer novel machine learning solutions into production environments, improving core decision-making processes and enhancing product capabilities across diverse use cases. - Implement and launch robust Data Science applications that seamlessly coordinate with front-facing solutions, driving continuous improvements using performant and efficient ML models.
- Demonstrate 5+ years experience in Machine Learning engineering, specifically developing real-time data streaming technologies for forecasting or logistics products, ensuring system reliability. - Apply Python for coding and software engineering; proficient with cloud services (AWS/GCP), microservices, event-driven architecture, and Kubernetes for production deployment. - Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, working independently to productise/deploy solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver production systems at scale.
