We're hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science team within the Product and Tech group, focusing on creating intelligent applications to solve complex challenges. This role in Berlin (hybrid) will develop solutions to supply and demand challenges, optimizing logistics algorithms to ensure a reliable, efficient, and profitable service impacting delivery operations. Key Responsibilities: - Research, implement, and deploy innovative ML techniques applicable to logistics problems, enhancing decision-making processes and product solutions effectively. - Scale and transfer novel machine learning solutions to improve our decision-making processes, integrating them into various product use cases for broader impact. - Implement and launch Data Science applications that coordinate with front-facing solutions, constantly improving them using performant and efficient ML models.
- Strong experience in Machine Learning, developing real-time data streaming technologies for forecast or logistics products, demonstrating expertise in practical ML applications. - Proficiency in Python and cloud services (AWS, GCP) for productization and deployment, coupled with a strong background in microservices and event-driven architecture. - Experience collaborating closely with multi-functional teams, driving forward best practices to achieve successful project outcomes in complex environments.
