We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Insights & Enablement team within Retail Media Tech, building data infrastructure and products to empower advertisers. This role significantly shapes the technical foundation of our retail media platform, operating in a highly cross-functional environment at JET, onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build scalable data pipelines and event streaming architectures across batch and near-real-time workloads, focusing on reliability and data quality using modern data engineering practices. - Develop and maintain Gold Layer data marts in BigQuery using dbt Core, applying top-down/bottom-up data modelling methodologies for robust data solutions. - Build and maintain Airflow-orchestrated ELT workflows for the retail media data platform, including attribution pipelines supporting campaign performance and incrementality measurement.
- Demonstrable senior-level experience building and delivering data engineering solutions, including distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data processing. - Strong Python and SQL skills across BigQuery or equivalent cloud data warehouses, with hands-on experience in dbt Core and Airflow for orchestration. - A track record of contributing to and shaping design decisions beyond your own work, through standards, technical documentation, or supporting colleagues' growth.
