Job description

We're hiring a Senior Accountant to own and optimize the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial operations. This role drives impact from Truckee, CA, on a full-time, onsite basis with a structured 40-hour workweek and occasional overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Own day-to-day accounts payable operations, including vendor payments, AP controls, and Ottimate AP automation platform maintenance to enhance workflows and accuracy. - Reconcile monthly vendor statements, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close processes to ensure financial alignment and compliance. - Collaborate with department managers on credit card purchases, capital requests, inventory matters, and vendor compliance to streamline operations and mitigate risks.

Job requirements

- 3+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable operations, with preference for 5+ years and a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Jonas Club Management software for financial tracking and reporting. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
