This role creates impact by offering convenient, reliable rides for customers in various cities, operating remotely as a flexible, self-directed contractor. Key Responsibilities: - Operate a personal or rented vehicle safely and efficiently, completing customer ride requests to ensure timely and comfortable transportation experiences. - Manage your own schedule and availability using the Uber driver app, optimizing driving hours to achieve personal earning goals effectively. - Utilize the in-app tools and Instant Pay feature for quick access to earnings, monitoring daily income and managing financial flows proactively.
- Access earnings instantly up to five times daily through Instant Pay, providing immediate financial liquidity for personal and professional needs. - Enjoy complete flexibility in setting personal driving schedules, enabling work-life balance and autonomous management of daily commitments.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US, or 3 years if under 25, demonstrating foundational road safety knowledge. - Own or have access to an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone, facilitating seamless navigation and ride management functions. - Consent to comprehensive driver screening and background checks, upholding a commitment to passenger safety and regulatory compliance.
