This role creates impact by offering reliable mobility and delivery options across various locations, operating in a highly flexible, part-time or full-time work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers or deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to traffic laws and Uber's service standards to ensure timely arrivals and customer satisfaction. - Utilize the Uber driver application efficiently for trip acceptance, navigation, and payment processing, optimizing routes and managing pickups/drop-offs effectively for maximum earnings. - Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing routine checks and ensuring a comfortable environment for passengers or safe transport of items to uphold service quality.
- Receive prompt payment with the option to cash out earnings up to 5 times daily using Instant Pay, allowing immediate access to funds for financial flexibility and management. - Enjoy complete schedule autonomy, deciding exactly when and how much to drive, providing unparalleled flexibility to fit driving around personal commitments and needs. - Access vehicle rental partners to secure a car by the hour, day, or week, facilitating earning opportunities even for individuals without personal vehicle ownership.
- Possess at least 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25) demonstrating responsible vehicle operation and adherence to driving regulations. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and utilize an iPhone or Android smartphone to access the Uber driver application for trip management and communication. - Consent to comprehensive driver screening and background checks, upholding safety standards and ensuring trustworthiness within the Uber community for all users.
