Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers using personal or rented eligible vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and Uber guidelines, ensuring a secure and pleasant ride experience. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber driver app, optimizing earnings by responding to ride requests in high-demand areas. - Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle suitable for passenger transport, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Quickly access your earnings by cashing out up to 5 times daily using the Instant Pay feature provided through the Uber platform. - Enjoy complete autonomy over your work schedule, allowing you to independently determine your driving hours and earning targets as your own boss. - Access flexible vehicle rental options through Uber's partners, enabling you to rent a car hourly, daily, or weekly to meet your driving needs.
- Possess at least 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US, with a requirement of 3 years of experience if under 25 years old. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check for platform participation. - Maintain an active iPhone or Android smartphone with data capabilities to effectively utilize the Uber driver application.
