We're hiring a Mobile Release Manager to make key contributions to our Courier mobile app release process, ensuring smooth App Store and Play Store releases. This role coordinates feature inclusion, liaises with development teams, and supports business units to ensure timely, consistent mobile app releases for users. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee fortnightly releases with the wider team, coordinating internal sign-offs, quality checks, and hands-on smoke testing to ensure high-quality app deployments. - Identify process bottlenecks and automation opportunities within Core team workflows and CI/CD pipelines, driving high-impact solutions with technical teams. - Streamline, create, and maintain release documentation, giving mobile teams clear, central, and up-to-date guidance on all release requirements.
- Demonstrate practical understanding of the full mobile app lifecycle, managing software delivery from early development through to app store distribution. - Exhibit strong project management skills with proficiency in Jira to track release milestones, organise workflows, and maintain delivery momentum. - Be an adaptable communicator who distills complex information into clear documentation, actionable status updates, and engaging meetings for stakeholders.
