We're hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to collaboratively design, build, and productionize machine learning systems within the Data Science team at Just Eat Takeaway.com. This role significantly impacts logistics algorithms, optimizing delivery operations from Berlin, operating in a hybrid capacity with three days in the London office. Key Responsibilities: - Research, implement, and deploy innovative ML techniques for logistics problems, leveraging data to improve supply and demand challenges and overall service efficiency. - Scale and transfer novel machine learning solutions, enhancing decision-making processes and product use cases through performant and efficient ML models and pipelines. - Implement and launch Data Science applications coordinating with front-facing solutions, continuously improving real-time systems using cloud services and robust evaluation frameworks.
- Strong experience in Machine Learning, developing real-time data streaming technologies for forecast or logistics products with tangible business impact. - Proficiency with Python, cloud services like AWS/GCP, and familiarity with Kubernetes, along with microservices and event-driven architecture. - Ability to work independently and solve complex problems by productising solutions, collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams to drive best practices.
