We're hiring a Head of Engineering, Logistics Services to lead the technical strategy and operational excellence of platforms that connect our logistics network globally. This role critically impacts partner integrations, operational tools, and external delivery capabilities, based in Berlin or Canada with hybrid work. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute a technical strategy for Logistics Services engineering, ensuring alignment with the broader roadmap and delivering measurable improvements in platform performance and reliability. - Lead the engineering organization across DaaS, Integrations, and Tooling domains, providing clear vision, technical direction, and ownership of delivery across all teams and projects. - Shape architectural evolution toward high-performance, scalable, and shared platform components, reducing duplication and complexity globally for enhanced system efficiency.
- Possess significant engineering leadership experience, including several years leading large, distributed engineering organizations of 50-100+ people effectively. - Demonstrate technical fluency across distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms, applying modern engineering practices. - Exhibit confident communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortably operating at senior levels across technical and non-technical audiences.
