We're hiring a Head of engineering, logistics services to lead the engineering across the Logistics Services pillar, defining technical strategy and ensuring operational excellence. This role creates significant impact by shaping high-scale, real-time systems at the edge of the logistics network, based in Berlin or Canada with a hybrid work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute technical strategy for Logistics Services engineering, ensuring alignment with broader roadmap and delivering measurable improvements in integration reliability and platform performance. - Lead engineering organization across DaaS, Integrations, and Tooling domains, providing clear vision, technical direction, and ownership for delivery across all teams. - Shape architectural evolution across integration layer, operational tooling, and DaaS platform, moving towards high-performance, scalable, and shared platform components to reduce duplication.
- Possess X+ years experience in platform or integration engineering at scale, leading large (50-100+) distributed engineering organizations, and building B2B or external-facing services. - Demonstrate technical fluency across distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms, engaging meaningfully with engineers on complex problems. - Possess confident communication and stakeholder management skills, operating effectively at senior levels with diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
