We're hiring a Head of engineering, logistics services to lead the technical strategy, execution, and operational excellence of platforms that connect our logistics network. This role critically impacts partner, operations, and customer experiences in Berlin or Canada through a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute technical strategy for Logistics Services engineering, ensuring alignment with broader roadmaps and measurable improvements in reliability and quality. - Lead the engineering organization across DaaS, Integrations, and Tooling domains, providing clear vision, technical direction, and ownership of all team deliveries. - Shape architectural evolution toward high-performance, scalable, and shared platform components, reducing duplication and complexity globally across the company.
- 5+ years experience in platform or integration engineering, ideally building B2B or external-facing services at scale in logistics or marketplace domains. - Technical fluency across distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms, engaging engineers on complex problems effectively. - Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, operating at senior levels across technical and non-technical audiences for strategic alignment.
