We're hiring a Golang engineer to play a critical part in connecting partners with the Just Eat Takeaway platform, taking our integration platform to the next level while maintaining core functionality. This role creates impact by building high-volume POS and menu integrations for global brands, ensuring smooth operations across 10+ countries, with work conducted remotely to support global operations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust, high-throughput microservices and features in Go, utilizing a continuous delivery environment to build and scale critical integrations. - Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve production anomalies during weekly signal channel reviews, championing system health before issues escalate. - Contribute to technical discussions and help implement scalable solutions alongside senior engineers, shaping the wider architecture for future system growth.
- 2+ years experience in commercial Go development, writing clean, efficient, and testable code for high-volume systems and microservices. - Hands-on experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and S3, plus knowledge of event-driven design and distributed systems principles. - Strong communication skills for working out loud and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering effective cross-team collaboration.
