We're hiring a Golang engineer to play a critical part in connecting partners with the Just Eat Takeaway platform by building and scaling critical integrations. This role creates significant impact by maintaining core functionality, ensuring smooth operations for global brands across 10+ countries in an onsite setting. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust, high-throughput microservices and features using Go, ensuring scalable solutions for critical platform operations. - Participate in weekly signal channel reviews, investigating and resolving production anomalies proactively to champion system health and reliability for partners. - Implement scalable solutions and contribute to technical discussions with senior engineers, shaping wider system architecture for future platform growth.
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development, writing clean, efficient, and testable code within a production environment. - Proficient with Go, event-driven design principles, and AWS cloud services including DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and S3, plus Kafka knowledge. - Demonstrate proactive problem-solving, strong communication skills ('working out loud'), and a quality-first approach including Test-Driven Development.
