Job description

We're hiring an Environmental Compliance/Sustainability Engineer to support regulatory compliance programs and sustainability initiatives across operations. This role creates impact by ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and driving continuous improvement in sustainability performance at our onsite locations in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation (e.g., TRI, Tier II, stormwater DMRs) to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate record-keeping. - Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (e.g., RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act) and assist in implementing updated compliance requirements across operational sites. - Collect, analyze, and report sustainability metrics (e.g., emissions, energy, water, waste) to identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements for continuous enhancement.

Job requirements

- 3-5 years experience in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, or sustainability programs, including report preparation and permit management. - Proficiency in sustainability reporting, data analysis tools, and environmental management systems, with advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel). - Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and train employees on compliance responsibilities.
