This role significantly impacts daily urban mobility by ensuring timely and reliable service, operating independently in various locations, offering complete work flexibility. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers or deliver goods using a personal or rented vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and Uber's service standards to ensure customer satisfaction. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber app, optimizing routes and accepting trip requests to maximize earnings efficiently. - Maintain vehicle eligibility and complete required screenings including background checks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and platform safety protocols consistently.
- Receive earnings up to 5 times daily using Instant Pay, offering immediate access to funds directly after completing trips. - Enjoy complete flexibility in schedule, deciding hours and days of work independently to fit personal commitments. - Access vehicle rental partners for hourly, daily, or weekly use, providing a car if you don't own one.
- Possess at least 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US, or 3 years if under 25 years old, for safe operation. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and have an iPhone or Android smartphone for app integration and navigation. - Consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
