We're hiring a Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services to passengers, fitting into the gig economy as an alternative to traditional employment. This role creates impact by connecting people with transportation options in their local area, offering flexibility in work hours and arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. - Provide excellent customer service to riders, assisting them with luggage and ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the trip. - Navigate efficiently using smartphone technology, communicating any delays or issues proactively to passengers and dispatch if necessary.
- Receive earnings quickly with Instant Pay, allowing cash-outs up to 5 times daily. - Set your own schedule and decide how much or little you want to drive and earn, offering maximum flexibility. - Access to Uber's rental partners for hourly, daily, or weekly car rentals if you do not own an eligible vehicle.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if you are under 25 years old). - Use an eligible 4-door vehicle and possess a valid US Driver's license, proof of residency, and vehicle insurance if applicable. - Consent to a driver screening and background check, and use an iPhone or Android smartphone for navigation and app access.
