This role creates impact by connecting users with rides and deliveries, offering flexible work across various locations with an onsite work mode for all driving activities. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented vehicle in accordance with local traffic laws and Uber's operational guidelines, ensuring timely and secure transportation or delivery of goods. - Utilize the Uber driver application to accept and manage ride or delivery requests, optimizing routes and schedules to maximize personal earnings and efficiency. - Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks on your vehicle, providing a comfortable and secure experience for passengers or items.
- Cash out your earnings up to 5 times daily using Instant Pay, allowing for immediate access to funds and managing personal finances effectively. - Enjoy complete flexibility as your own boss, independently setting your working hours and deciding how much or little you wish to drive and earn each week. - Access rental partners through Uber for hourly, daily, or weekly vehicle rentals, providing a convenient option if you do not own an eligible car.
- Possess at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US, demonstrating a consistent record of safe and responsible vehicle operation. - Utilize an eligible 4-door vehicle that meets Uber's platform standards and own a compatible iPhone or Android smartphone for all operational tasks. - Consent to and successfully complete a comprehensive driver screening and background check, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
