Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal or rented vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and Uber's community guidelines, ensuring a comfortable experience for passengers or timely delivery of goods. - Utilize the Uber driver application to accept ride or delivery requests, navigate to destinations efficiently, and manage earnings, contributing to personal financial goals. - Maintain high service standards and vehicle cleanliness, facilitating positive customer interactions and receiving favorable ratings that enhance platform reputation and opportunities.
- Access earnings immediately up to 5 times daily using Instant Pay, providing quick financial liquidity and flexibility to manage personal finances effectively. - Utilize Uber's network of rental partners to secure a vehicle by the hour, day, or week, reducing personal ownership costs and expanding earning opportunities.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25), demonstrating a history of safe and legal vehicle operation. - Own or have access to an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone, ensuring readiness to meet platform technical and logistical requirements. - Consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check, upholding safety standards and maintaining platform integrity for all users.
