We're hiring a Driver to provide reliable transportation and delivery services, seamlessly integrating with our global network to support community mobility. This role creates significant impact by facilitating convenient and efficient travel and logistics in any city where Uber operates, under a flexible, self-directed work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a personal vehicle to transport passengers or deliver goods, adhering to all traffic laws and Uber's community guidelines to ensure customer safety. - Manage personal schedule and availability using the Uber app, strategically accepting ride or delivery requests to maximize earnings and maintain service efficiency. - Maintain a clean and eligible 4-door vehicle, conducting regular checks to ensure optimal performance and a comfortable experience for all users.
- Cash out your earnings up to 5 times a day using Instant Pay, providing immediate access to your funds. - Enjoy complete autonomy over your work schedule, deciding exactly when and how much you want to drive. - Access vehicle rental partners if you don't own a car, allowing hourly, daily, or weekly rental options.
- Possess at least 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25) to meet eligibility criteria for safe operation. - Own an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone to facilitate service delivery and communication. - Consent to a comprehensive driver screening and background check, demonstrating commitment to safety and platform standards.
