We're hiring a driver to join our flexible gig platform to provide on-demand transportation services. This role creates impact by connecting riders with drivers in cities and allowing drivers to earn money on their own schedule. The role is remote with flexible hours. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations using a personal or rented vehicle, ensuring a positive rider experience. - Navigate efficiently using GPS and real-time traffic data to optimize routes and minimize travel time for passengers. - Adhere to all traffic laws and Uber's community guidelines, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during all trips.
- Receive earnings up to 5 times daily via Instant Pay, with options for hourly, daily, or weekly vehicle rentals through Uber's partners. - Decide your own working hours and pace, driving as much or as little as you desire to meet your income goals. - Access 24/7 support from the Uber team for assistance with registration and any other questions.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25), a valid US driver's license, and proof of residency. - Use an eligible 4-door vehicle, possess an iPhone or Android smartphone, and consent to driver screening and background check. - Provide proof of vehicle insurance if using your own car, with additional documentation potentially required by city or state.
