We're hiring a Driver to help people get around their city and provide safe and reliable rides. This role creates impact by connecting riders with transportation, explicitly mentioning the driver's city and the flexibility of the work. Key Responsibilities: - Transport passengers safely and courteously to their destinations using the Uber app, ensuring a positive customer experience. - Navigate efficiently using GPS and local knowledge, adhering to traffic laws and providing timely service to riders. - Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, performing regular checks to ensure it meets Uber's standards for passenger safety and comfort.
- Receive your earnings fast: Cash out up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay, with direct deposit available daily. - You are your own boss: Decide how much or little you want to drive and earn, setting your own schedule. - Don't have a car? Uber has rental partners available that allow you to rent a car by the hour, day, or week.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if you are under 25 years old). - Use an eligible 4-door vehicle and possess a valid US Driver's license, proof of residency, and vehicle insurance. - Consent to a driver screening and background check, and use an iPhone or Android smartphone for the Uber app.
