We're hiring a Driver to help people get where they need to go safely and reliably. This role involves driving passengers in their own or a rental vehicle, providing a comfortable and efficient experience. The role creates impact by ensuring convenient transportation in various locations and work modes. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport passengers to their destinations using navigation tools and adhering to traffic laws, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey. - Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with luggage and ensuring a pleasant and professional travel experience. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it meets Uber's standards for passenger safety and comfort, addressing any maintenance needs promptly.
- Receive earnings up to 5 times a day with Instant Pay, with median earnings of $32.25 per hour in specific locations. - You have the flexibility to decide how much or little you want to drive and earn, setting your own schedule. - Uber partners with rental companies to provide vehicles available for rent by the hour, day, or week.
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25 years old). - Possess an eligible 4-door vehicle and a smartphone (iPhone or Android) for app usage. - Consent to a driver screening and background check, and provide a valid US driver's license and proof of insurance if driving your own vehicle.
