Key Responsibilities: - Provide safe and efficient transportation services using personal or rented eligible 4-door vehicle, maintaining high customer service standards and adherence to local traffic laws. - Manage personal driving schedule and availability through the Uber application, optimizing earning opportunities and responding to ride requests promptly and professionally. - Ensure compliance with all platform requirements including driver screening, background checks, and vehicle eligibility, facilitating seamless operation and positive rider experiences.
- Receive earnings immediately with Instant Pay, allowing cash out up to five times daily, ensuring rapid access to income from completed trips. - Enjoy complete autonomy over driving schedule and hours, providing unparalleled flexibility to work when desired and manage personal commitments effectively. - Access Uber's rental partners for vehicle options, facilitating driving opportunities even without personal car ownership through hourly, daily, or weekly rentals.
- Possess at least 1 year of licensed driving experience in the US (3 years if under 25 years old) to ensure adequate on-road proficiency and safety. - Operate an eligible 4-door vehicle and an iPhone or Android smartphone, meeting platform technical and vehicle standards for service delivery. - Consent to comprehensive driver screening and background checks, demonstrating a commitment to safety, compliance, and passenger trust.
