We're hiring a Diesel Mechanic to manage diesel, hydraulic, and electric mobile equipment, perform maintenance, and ensure operational efficiency at our Cuyahoga Heights, OH location onsite at Charter Steel mill. This role creates impact by driving efficiency, process improvement, and safety compliance in a high-performance team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage diesel, hydraulic, and electric mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. - Diagnose and repair electrical and lighting systems to maintain operational safety and efficiency. - Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components to reduce wear and ensure smooth operation. - Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery to maintain peak performance and prevent failures. - Perform quality control spot checks on repairs to ensure compliance with standards and accuracy. - Review repair orders for completeness and accuracy to maintain documentation integrity. - Test equipment and systems for performance to validate repairs and maintenance work.

- 5+ years of mobile maintenance experience in diesel and hydraulic heavy mobile equipment. - Strong diagnostic and repair skills with diesel and hydraulic systems, including electrical and lighting systems. - Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns independently.
