We're hiring a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations on the shop floor, actively participating in setup, programming (GibbsCAM), and running jobs while supervising a small team. This role creates impact by ensuring efficient workflows, troubleshooting issues, and training machinists in {Location} with a {Work_Mode} schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Lead daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to print specifications. - Set up and run Mazak CNC lathes and mills, while programming and optimizing jobs using GibbsCAM. - Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues, and train/support machinists to improve overall shop performance.
- Earn $32–$38/hr based on experience, with steady overtime opportunities and no shift changes. - Work in a clean, modern shop with newer Mazak machines (Smooth G controls) and a small-team environment free of corporate bureaucracy. - Gain hands-on leadership experience while contributing to process improvements, tooling decisions, and overall shop efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience operating Mazak CNC lathes and mills, with proficiency in setup and troubleshooting. - Experience with GibbsCAM programming and optimizing machining jobs for efficiency. - 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a machining environment, with the ability to read prints and train machinists.
