We're hiring a Chemical Treatment Technician to support precious metal recovery operations through chemical processing, material analysis, and safe handling of industrial chemicals. This role creates impact at Sibanye-Stillwater’s Fairless Hills, PA facility where operations run onsite during the 2nd shift (1:30 PM to 10 PM). Key Responsibilities: - Perform chemical reactions in laboratory and production environments to support precious metal recovery operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. - Sample, recover, and analyze materials for precious metal content using filtration, dissolution, and recovery processes with acids, bases, or cyanide, while maintaining detailed records of batch and job information. - Maintain and clean laboratory instruments and processing equipment, safely handle hazardous chemicals, and assist in wastewater treatment operations using cyanide oxidation and acid neutralization techniques.
