We're hiring a Campaign Manager to contribute to our resume bank initiative, facilitating connections between experienced professionals and progressive campaigns across Maryland. This role plays a key part in strengthening the progressive ecosystem by ensuring top-tier talent is matched with the right opportunities. As a Campaign Manager based in Calverton, MD, this role operates on a seasonal/as-needed basis, offering flexibility and the chance to engage in high-impact campaign placements. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate introductions between experienced campaign professionals and progressive campaigns seeking leadership talent, ensuring alignment with campaign needs and values. - Maintain and review a database of resumes, ensuring accuracy and relevance for campaign matchmaking while adhering to seasonal/as-needed timelines. - Collaborate with campaigns to understand their strategic goals and identify suitable candidates based on experience, skills, and progressive values alignment.
- 5+ years experience in campaign management, including roles such as Campaign Manager, Field Director, Finance Director, or Communications Director on electoral campaigns. - Experience managing complex projects, teams, or volunteer-driven efforts in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. - Strong organizational skills and a self-starting mindset, with a demonstrated ability to lead in progressive political, nonprofit, advocacy, or labor union settings.
