We're hiring an Application Security Engineer to ensure the right security controls are implemented throughout the SDLC across global Technology teams. This role profoundly impacts product security by providing subject matter expertise, facilitating threat modeling, and deeply analyzing legacy applications. Key Responsibilities: - Translate security principles into understandable requirements and controls, enabling seamless implementation across Just Eat Takeaway.com’s diverse platforms. - Lead comprehensive security reviews, including threat modeling, design analysis, and code assessments, to significantly enhance application security posture. - Assess vulnerabilities in AI-enabled applications, leveraging AI tools for improved security analysis and fostering developer enablement and best practices.
- Experience in defining security controls for complex environments, independent of underlying platforms and various technologies. - Proficiency with OWASP Top 10, Secure Coding Tools (SCA, SAST, Secrets), and securing AI-enabled applications including AI/LLM vulnerability assessment. - Demonstrated strong communication skills and proven stakeholder management, effectively guiding engineers on security best practices across teams.
