Job description

We're hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage financial operations and support the Finance Manager as the company expands its crab processing business. This role is based in Prospect Harbor, Maine, and requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounts payable tasks, including entering, processing, and tracking invoices and payments in NetYield ERP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Track expenses and approvals via Microsoft-based purchase order and expense systems, maintaining organized and up-to-date records for costing and reporting. - Support capital expense tracking and budgeting alongside the Finance Manager, ensuring alignment with company financial goals and compliance.

Job requirements

- 5-10 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, with a minimum of several years required. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with the Microsoft Office suite for daily financial tasks. - Ability to work independently, take ownership of financial functions, and adapt to a growing workload in a fast-paced environment.
