We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations across diverse teams. This hands-on role involves recording and reporting accounting transactions, managing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts, creating significant financial impact while working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger for accurate financial reporting. - Reconcile and close various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data integrity. - Process bank transactions, perform bank statement reconciliation, and manage asset accounting to maintain precise financial records and support consolidation processes.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, applying GAAP and IFRS guidelines to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong data analytics skills and understanding of front-end/external systems for effective data flow management. - Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial data to maintain accurate records.
