We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity as part of a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy by recording/reporting transactions, managing P&L/Balance Sheet, and reconciling balances at Just Eat Takeaway.com, which operates onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures and recording sub-ledger journal entries to ensure accurate R2R delivery and financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including AP/AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting to ensure compliance and comprehensive financial oversight.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational financial environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of applicable AP/GL systems and general financial procedures and data flow. - Possess strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies and support informed decision-making.
