We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting for our Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial recording and inter-team collaboration. This hands-on role creates impact by maintaining financial integrity and supporting consolidation processes for our Italian operations, onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of accounts like payables, receivables, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. - Execute IFRS 16 accounting, manage asset accounting, process bank transactions, and perform year-end roll forward processes within the ERP system.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating expertise in managing complex accounting operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge, and experience using general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set, enabling effective identification, research, and resolution of financial discrepancies and complex data flow issues.
