We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting for our Italian entity, integrating with a dynamic team to ensure smooth financial operations. This hands-on role ensures financial accuracy by recording transactions and reconciling accounts in Italy, operating onsite to support robust financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliations of various accounts including payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate financial disclosures.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, managing financial records and supporting period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and experience with ERP systems and related data flows. - Strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in all accounting tasks.
