We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our Italian entity, playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy across teams. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting by overseeing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts for the Italian operations, likely based onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances, using ERP systems to ensure data integrity. - Perform comprehensive account reconciliations for AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, meticulously identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy. - Assist in preparing statutory and non-statutory financial statements, including IFRS 16 accounting, to ensure compliance and provide accurate financial insights.
- 3+ years experience in multinational accounting, managing period-end close processes and general ledger activities. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in ERP systems and GAAP/IFRS guidelines for financial reporting. - Strong analytical skills applied to identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
