We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic team managing day-to-day accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy and reporting in Italy by performing key accounting functions onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling balances to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts like AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and prepare financial statements to maintain ledger integrity and compliance. - Execute IFRS 16 accounting, process bank transactions, manage asset accounting, and perform netting of expenses to ensure comprehensive financial record-keeping.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable AP/GL systems for financial operations. - Strong data analytics skill set for identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
