We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic team managing daily accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial operations and reporting. This role significantly impacts financial integrity by overseeing transaction recording, managing accounts, and supporting period-end activities in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping. - Complete period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool, perform bank transaction processing, and manage asset accounting for the legal entity.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for financial compliance. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data and processes effectively.
