We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across teams. This hands-on role impacts financial reporting and compliance at our global marketplace, located in Italy with onsite work. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling accounts for accurate financial statements. - Perform reconciliation/closing of various accounts like payable/receivable, inventory, intercompany transactions, utilizing ERP systems for financial record keeping accuracy. - Assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data upload from ERP to consolidation tool for compliance.
- 3+ years experience in dynamic multinational finance environments, demonstrating strong command of day-to-day accounting operations and reporting cycles. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying these in applicable general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies, coupled with effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment to ensure financial integrity.
