We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations within a dynamic team. This role impacts financial accuracy by recording/reporting transactions, managing accounts, and ensuring timely period-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure delivery of Record-to-Report (R2R) by performing period-end cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances, achieving financial integrity. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts like AP, AR, inventory, intercompany transactions, and maintain meticulous financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Support intercompany accounting and consolidation processes, assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, and execute IFRS 16 accounting, streamlining financial reporting.
- 3+ years experience in multinational accounting, managing day-to-day financial operations and period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and general ledger systems, applying knowledge to financial reporting. - Possess strong data analytics skills, applying them to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring high accuracy in financial data and reporting.
