We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic team managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, focusing on recording, reporting, and reconciliations. This hands-on role creates impact by ensuring accurate financial records and supporting period-end processes in Italy, primarily onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording necessary journal entries for accurate financial reporting. - Reconcile various accounts, including payables, receivables, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting, complete ERP data uploads to consolidation tools, and manage bank transactions and asset accounting for precise financial oversight.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, demonstrating ability to manage complex financial operations. - Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, coupled with strong data analytics skills for efficient financial analysis and reporting. - Awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying them to general ledger systems and accounting procedures to ensure compliance.
