We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, supporting financial operations and ensuring compliance across teams. This role critically impacts financial reporting by recording transactions and reconciling balances, requiring hands-on engagement within the Italian entity on-site. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes, performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, and recording entries to ensure accurate R2R delivery. - Perform reconciliations and closing for various accounts, including AP/AR and intercompany, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, execute IFRS 16 accounting, and manage data uploads to the consolidation tool.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, managing various financial transactions and reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and experience with applicable GL/AP systems and procedures. - Possess strong data analytics skills, applying them to identify, research, and resolve complex accounting discrepancies efficiently.
