We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic, high-performing team managing daily accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring seamless financial operations across departments. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy by overseeing transaction recording and balance sheet management in Italy, working onsite within the finance team. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of accounts including payables, receivables, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete ERP data uploads to consolidation tools for comprehensive financial oversight.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing general accounting activities and financial reporting for corporate entities. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and experience with applicable GL systems and data flow. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify trends and resolve discrepancies, combined with good communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration and reporting.
