We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations across various ledgers. This hands-on role will impact accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance for the Italian entity, operating in an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling balances to ensure accurate R2R delivery efficiently. - Perform reconciliation and closing of diverse accounts, including AP/AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, executing IFRS 16 accounting, and managing period data uploads to the consolidation tool accurately.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, demonstrating proficiency in managing comprehensive financial operations and processes. - Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of applicable AP/GL systems and procedures, including front-end data flow and related systems. - Strong analytical skills, applied to identifying, researching, and resolving accounting discrepancies to ensure precise financial reporting and compliance.
