We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting various teams with essential data. This hands-on role ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance, making a significant impact on operations while working onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger balances to the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial statements. - Perform reconciliations and closing for accounts like payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Complete period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool, perform bank transaction processing, and manage asset accounting, supporting statutory financial statement preparation.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, applying GAAP and IFRS guidelines to day-to-day financial operations and reporting procedures. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with good knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems, and understanding of front-end data flow. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and contributing to accurate financial statement preparation and consolidation processes.
