We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, contributing to a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting and compliance in Italy, operating from our local office in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Perform period-end close processes, ensuring accurate R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances. - Manage various account reconciliations, including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently. - Execute asset accounting, recording manual journal entries, processing bank transactions, and performing IFRS 16 accounting to maintain financial integrity.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, applying accounting principles for financial management. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience using applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set combined with a detail-oriented approach to accurately identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies.
